The Poster size is DIN A0, which means 36x52 inch (90 x 120cm) or DIN A0 oversize (91.44 x 132.8 cm), smaller sizes are no problem, larger sizes are limited by paper roll size and data size (up to about 250 MB for images, please do not include turned images or too many objects). The longer edge should be on the side (portrait format).

The data file should be send approximately 14 days or earlier before the meeting starts.

Presentation

Participants who wish to give a presentation (oral or poster) must not submit an abstract.

PC/Mac Demonstration

There are two options for a PC/Mac demonstration: either the author brings his/her own computer (laptop/Mac) and installs it at the PC/video projector (beamer), or he/she brings his/her own data medium and uses the permanently installed laptop/PC.

Please keep in mind that Germany runs a 230V electricity network.

If the author uses his/her own laptop/Mac we kindly point out that he/she has to switch on the external monitor mode (VGA mode, e.g. Fn F5).

In the meeting room there is a permanently installed laptop/PC with a DVD drive supporting DVD-R, DVD+R and CD-R and two USB 2.0 ports for memory sticks ready for any presentation an author has assembled on his/her supported data medium.

Power-Up Facilities for laptops/Macs and internet access

For charging their laptops/Macs participants may use all areas where open power-sockets are available. Throughout the MARUM Building we provide internet access via W-LAN.
