panMetaWorks is a collaborative, metadata based data and information exchange platform for science. Researchers can use panMetaWorks to collect and share a variety of information sources such as documents, webpages as well as citations. And of course, panMetaworks can be used to initially upload and describe data which is intended to be later on archived at PANGAEA. Thus, it helps to collect metadata needed for archiving purposes and is therefore also a helpful tool for data curators.

A complete user guide can be found at Google Docs

The tool initially was developed to support some European projects and later used by Damien Ulbricht (GFZ) to develop panMetaDocs.

Support and development for panMetaWorks has been discontinued, web access is no longer available.
